You hold up your phone,

The Being looks down at you,

“Ah,” it intones, like the slow tolling of institutional bells,

“Education as capitalist venture... well, I have nothing but time.”

Ze leans forward and gazes directly into your eyes.

“Tell me,” ze says, are you persistently working hard toward your goals, or looking after yourself and communication?"
