This game was inspired by the transcript of a Skype conversation between artist colleagues that took place online in March 2020, at the start of the COVID19 lockdown in the UK.

 

I was not involved in the original Skype, and only had the transcript to understand what was talked about.

 

Most of the text in this game has been copied directly from the transcript.

Some of it has been edited, some of it is my own invention.

 

The Being is based on Will Powers, the gender playful alter-ego of New York photographer Lyn Goldsmith.

 

Many of the quotes assigned to the Gurus are (unbelievably) genuine (note: don't follow gurus).
